This summer I incidentally found out that I had a brain tumor.
I published this post here to share the details and news with my readers on Dessert Darling.
Evidently, I had an unconventional response to the news.
The decision to announce my tumor and film my journey nourished me on many levels. It allowed so many wonderful people, near and far, to give me profound support. Filming the journey took me out of the first person, and made the whole experience a bit of an adventure. Maybe something really positive would come from the videos. Maybe someone would take solace in them, or learn something important, or even.. laugh!? At the very least, I could show these clips to my kids someday and say “see what I did before having you!”
I hope that this series lends you peace of mind, hope, and maybe even inspires you.
You can look forward to new episodes every TUMAH TUESDAY. Additionally, I plan to create an “Inspirations” page with all of the incredible stories and people that have inspired me to alway be positive. I owe them so much gratitude.
